The shampoo will help alleviate some of your symptoms of dandruff, while the baking soda will help sooth your scalp and relieve itching from flakes. This can be used two to three times per week to treat dandruff and keep your scalp healthy.

I also use baking soda in my homemade soaps. I pour some into my soap molds, which are available at any drug store. Next, I add oil drops to make my soap liquid and pour it into my tub and let the soaps sit overnight. Next morning, wash my hair with my regular shampoo and leave to soak.

The third and final of my list of baking soda uses for hair is for hair conditioner. If you are like me and use a ton of conditioners on your hair each month then you may want to consider using this for conditioner. I simply mix it in with my shampoo.
